Bundaberg & Childers
Bundaberg is located 4 hours drive North of Brisbane and is the gateway to the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef.
A short boat trip from the Bundaberg port will have you at Lady Musgrave Island or Lady Elliott Island where you can enjoy diving, snorkeling, reef walking or maybe a spot of fishing. Other things to take in could be a trip to Mon Repos which is the largest Turtle rookery on mainland Australia where you can watch Turtles make their way up the beach to lay their eggs and witness the hatchlings find their way to the water.
Childers is the southern most township of Central Queensland and only a short three and a half hour car journey from Brisbane. This historical town is positioned on a ridge with magnificent views overlooking thousands of hectares of vivid green sugarcane and avocado farms. Visitors can step back in history as they visit the town's many historical buildings - some dating back to Queensland's early pioneering days. As the centre of the thriving Isis Shire, Childers offers a relaxed and welcoming country atmosphere.

Mareeba
Mareeba is located in north Queensland sixty four kilometres (1 hour) south- west of Cairns. Mareeba shire, covering 52,585 square kilometres is one of the largest in Queensland. Almost the size of Tasmania, but with only 17, 5000 inhabitants. The shire offers a variety of soils, abundant water, reliable rainfall and excellent climate (warm sunny days and cool nights).
The Mareeba Township is the gateway to the gulf and the largest town on the tablelands (Cairns Highlands) with a population of approximately 9600. In this area, where the rainforest meets the outback, you will discover unique and unusual natural environments. Only minutes away from natural attractions such as Granite gorge, the crater, lakes Eacham and Barrine.

Toowoomba
Queensland's Garden City, Toowoomba is only 90 minutes from Brisbane. As Australia's largest inland city, it is the hub of South East Queensland Country.
Crowning the edge of the Great Dividing Range 800 meters above sea level, Toowoomba is renowned for its architecture and open spaces that overlook the Lockyer Valley. One of city's famous vantage points is Picnic Point, from where you can explore the graded walks along the range escarpment, or sit back, relax and take in the view.
Toowoomba really is Queensland's Garden City, with more than 150 public parks and gardens. In spring the gardens are an extravaganza of colour, and the city celebrates with its Carnival of Flowers, held each year in the last full week of September.
Opportunities to work in an abattoir in regional Toowoomba , travelers can work on site for up to six months. As of July 1,2006 it is possible to work for 3 months and have the right to apply for a second visa to stay an extended period of Maximum 12 months.
