Seasonal Work - Western Australia
Western Australia is fast becoming one of the world's best eco-tourism based holiday destinations. It is like taking a world tour all in one place. You can find areas very similar to the plains of Arizona in the United States or the grasslands of South Africa. Parts of the Southern Regions remind some people of the English countryside and in other places like the tropical Pacific such as Hawaii or the Great Barrier Reef. Western Australia's capital city of Perth has been described as being similar to California with the relaxed lifestyle and wonderful beaches.
It may interest you to know that Western Australia is bigger than Europe and covers one third of the Australian continent, yet only two million Australians live here. As a result, you can explore pristine wilderness and natural attractions that are completely undisturbed by man. Western Australia has a remarkable and very modern transportation network with accommodation having world-class facilities to suit your every comfort and desire.

Broome
Broome is located in Western Australia on the southern gateway to the Kimberley, one of the last great-unexplored wilderness areas on earth. Situated 2227 km’s north of Perth, WA and 1867 km’s south west of Darwin, NT on the Savannah Way, Broome is a popular stop over for tourists and working back packers alike.
Broome is renowned for the pearling history and has developed over the years to be the pearling mecca of Australia. Broome is a great base for tourists wanting that true Kimberley experience in charter fishing, a scenic flight over the Buccaneer Archipeliago where the famous horizontal waterfalls are located, see a movie in the oldest outdoor picture gardens in Australia or simply laze on the world famous Cable Beach.

Kununurra
Picturesque Kununurra is situated in the East Kimberley 1000 kms west of Broome and 830 kms south-west of Darwin. During the ‘dry’ season (April to November) there is a large demand for labour to support the local horticulture industry.
Approximately 100 people are needed in April, peaking to 400 in June and tailing off to 200 in November to pick Melons, Pumpkins, Corn, Citrus and Mangoes. There are also a number of plantations that require people for planting trees from April to August
